The Bear is the main antagonist of The Adventures of Milo and Otis. He is Milo's archenemy.

- The Bear is the only villain of the film.
- Since The Adventures of Milo and Otis is set in Japan, it is an Asian black bear (also known as a moon bear because of the white patch of fur on its chest) that attacks Milo (twice).
- When Milo is drying off in the shack after falling into the sea, it is actually a teenage brown bear that tries to eat the cat.
