Brutus is the secondary antagonist of "Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown", the main antagonists being his three, unnamed masters. He is an orange cat and he is vicious enough to intimidate anyone, including Snoopy. He always attempts to catch Snoopy's close avian friend Woodstock. In revenge for this, near the end, twice (first near the end of the raft race, and then after the bullies vow revenge on the Peanuts gang after losing), Snoopy, after gaining bravery, beats up the cat.
